New England Real Ale eXhibition

The longest running Real Ale Festival in the United States, proudly serving an outstanding selection of rarely seen, award-winning cask ales.


We serve over 100 firkins of Real Ale and Cider, comprised of over 50 British beers from England, Scotland, and Wales; and over 50 American beers, mostly from New England. All the beers are cask-conditioned, served by gravity or hand-pump.

Aeronaut Urban Farmhouse and Brewery is tucked away on a side street near Union Square. Their neighbors include Brooklyn Boulders (a rock climbing facility) and Artisan's Asylum (a community craft studio). Aeronaut has ample space, with room for an indoor farmers market and other small community businesses, such as Something GUD, barismo and Somerville Chocolate. They will combine their expertise in microbiology, fermentation, and brewing to create uniquely local beers.

The nearest ATM is at the Rite-Aid on Park and Somerville Ave.

Don't drink and drive! There are several ways to get to Aeronaut without a car.


In Boston, the public transportation system is the MBTA, also known as the T. Aeronaut is a short walk from several bus stops


The nearest bus is the 87, which runs between Lechmere Station and Davis Square. Get off the bus on Somerville Ave, at School Street, or opposite Loring Street. Walk down Dane Street, and turn right at Tyler Street.

The 86 bus runs between Sullivan Square, through Harvard Square, to Cleveland Circle. Get off the bus on Washington Street, at Leland Street, or Calvin Street. Walk up Dane Street, cross a bridge and turn left at Tyler Street.

The 83 bus runs between Central Square, through Porter Square, to Rindge Ave. Get off the bus on Somerville Ave at Central Street. Walk to Properzi Way, turn right, and walk to the end of the street. Turn right at Tyler Street.


Aeronaut is at the end of Tyler Street, on your left, after Artisan's Asylum and Brooklyn Boulders.

If you choose to drive, there is street parking on Somerville Ave, Washington Street, and Beacon Street. There are also public lots in Union Square.

You may walk to Aeronaut via Dane Street, which runs between Somerville Ave. and Washington Street. Turn at Tyler Street.

Aeronaut is at the end of Tyler Street, on your left, after Artisan's Asylum and Brooklyn Boulders.


Street parking on Tyler Street and Properzi Way is limited to permit only until 8:00 p.m.

The lots on Tyler Street and Dane Street are private. Please do not park there.

As always Redbones sandwiches will be at the festival.

There are several places to eat in Union Square. If you're looking for a late meal, The Independant, Union Square Pizza, and Cantina La Mexicana are open until midnight.
