Start NERAX festival week with a bang on the NERAX 2011 Pub Crawl, Saturday afternoon, March 26.
Last year's Crawl conquered Somerville and Cambridge. This year's crusade visits three fine pubs in Jamaica Plain. Brendan Behan, Canary Square and The Haven are all easy walking distance, the longest leg being four blocks! There's on-street parking, or the Green Line E Train (Heath Street stop) gets you to within five blocks of the crawl.
Alongside excellent draft selections, each stop will feature cask ale brewed for the NERAX Crawl, thanks to our friends at Smuttynose, Cambridge Brewing Company, and Notch Session. We start at The Behan, where Smuttynose IPA will be $4. Next up, Canary Square with Spring Training IPA from CBC. We conclude at the The Haven where pints of The High Road (a world premier!) from Notch Session will be $5, the best Scotch Eggs you ever had will be specially priced, and fine Scottish cuisine is 10% off to anyone making a 5:30 reservation who says the magic word "NERAX."
