Meadhall is rolling out the red carpet to NERAX, beginning at 5:00PM, when 100 tap lines will be reinforced by a British firkin tapped right on the bar.

We will tap Meantime London Pale Ale, which is 4.3% ABV and brewed in London, England. The brewer writes: "One hundred and fifty years ago the new bitter beer style, Pale Ale, was so popular that brewers had to import Californian hops to meet demand. Meantime London Pale Ale continues that tradition by combining lots of American Cascade and Centennial hops to give it a complex citrus aroma and bucketsful of local Kentish Goldings to provide the bitterness that makes the style so refreshing. Together they conspire to assail the nose with a complex, heady mix of spearmint, grass and 'hop sack' aromas, fruity citrus flavours and a bitter finish that makes pale ale drinking a truly rewarding experience."

Imperial pints served in official NERAX glasses, will be $6.

Also on hand will be:
Wandering Star Thunderbolt IPA, from Pittsfield, MA
6.0% ABV
"A premium IPA made with UK Maris Otter and crystal malt to balance a kettle hop bill of Cluster, Perle, and Tradition hops, with an added dry hop charge of Centennial and Cascade to add a genuine IPA finish. Named after the famous ‘Thunderbolt’ ski race held down the ungroomed slopes of Mount Greylock each year."

Mystic Brewery Descendant, from Chelsea, MA
7.0% ABV
"Mystic Descendant is a beer descended from the cultural history of the Boston harbor area. A dry Irish stout meets an English porter and is then fermented in the fermentorium with our saison yeast with a touch of the ubiquitous ingredient from the area's past: molasses. The result is a uniqe beer; it has more dark fruit than a porter and less roast than a traditional stout, while having a different ester profile than a Belgian stout. We thus dubbed our recipe a Suffolk Dark Ale, as an homage to our immigrant ancestors."

We expect about four casks will be served.

Meadhall is a veritable temple of craft beer, and features an excellent bistro menu. Bring your Real Ale pals and regular pals who should be Real Ale pals and we'll all get tuned up for the 16th annual New England Real Ale eXhibition. It'll be a cask blast!
